ActivShow Drives Website Visitors Into Dealerships
by Stephen Jackson

Any experienced angler knows that if you’re going fishing, you need to bait the hook. ActivEngage has teamed up with the targeted incentive provider HookLogic to give dealers the bait they need to drive website visitors into the dealership. We are proud to introduce ActivShow – an integrated chat solution specially designed to generate more walk-in traffic from your most qualified prospects.

One of the biggest challenges most dealers face is getting website visitors into their showrooms. Online shoppers may browse through inventory or examine specials without setting an appointment for a test drive. As a result, an auto dealer website gets an occasional nibble, but the majority of the fish swim right past it. We at activEngage believe we’ve discovered the solution – chum the waters by providing visitors with incentives to visit dealerships.

ActivEngage donated $900 to Bags of Hope and their Children’s FEED & READ program. There were 15 kids that were on the waiting list for the rest of the school year, but now thanks to ActivEngage, they no longer have to wait!  This weekly program delivers food care packages and books to children who demonstrate daily hunger due to homelessness or severe poverty. These children are not able to concentrate in class due to hunger and have a tendency to fall behind and eventually drop out of school making them at risk for  homelessness, poverty and potential crime.

Pop Culture Post- 2012 Kentucky Derby
by Ketty Colom

As you may know, the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs took place this past weekend and what a race it was! The rookie horse “I’ll Have Another” didn’t seem to have the goods to win the Kentucky Derby if you look back at his situation. “I’ll Have Another” was sold as a yearling for only $11,000 (the average cost of Derby horse in 2007 was $89,000), was ridden by rookie jockey Gutierrez which hardly anyone knew and stuck in an outside post no horse has ever won from (19). Despite all these odds “I’ll Have Another” overhauled a tiring “Bodemeister” to win by 1 1/2 lengths. This is a true underdog story, “I kept telling everybody, from the first time I met him, I knew he was the one,” Gutierrez told reporters. “I knew he was good.”
